Okay so today is the 24 August 2014, and with a little assistance from my son, I am setting up my first blog.
So why? Who am I?
Well the purpose of this blog principally is that I run barefoot. Yep, totally barefoot. No shoes. And I get a lot of questions. A lot of “You should nots” a lot of “How do you DO that” and, yes well frankly every one has some thing to say about it. Well naturally because of every ones kindly concern, I figured I should do a fair amount of research on this. And wallah, there are plenty of websites and blogs about barefoot running. However I notice the vast majority count barefoot running with minimalist shoes. I also noticed that I cannot really seem to find an encompassing blog/website that answers the kinds of questions I get. NOT saying those blogs and websites are not there, just I have not found them yet..
So before we go any further I will give a little bio on who I am.
Firstly, I love to talk. About anything. My family & my boys principally, and then anything, but I will try and keep to the point with this blog.
I am woman in her mid forties, who lives in Perth, Western Australia. Originally from South Africa. I am 1m 55cm (5ft 1″) and of average weight. I am not an athlete, or fitness guru, just a full time working mom, doing additional studies and started to run to get fit.
